View from the top of Mt. Ngongotaha in Rotorua

Three German guys and I decided to go on a last minute hike one afternoon. We didn’t really know where we were going, but found a trail and got to the top of this mountain/hill in about an hour. Since it was late, and dark in the trail, we tried to find another way back, so just started to take a nearby road. We emerged from the trees at the top to see this view. Wow. We then thought it might be smart to cut through these fields to get back to our car quicker. Six barbed fences, 100’s of sheep, dozens of deer, two rabbits, one dog and three hours later, we finally got to our car. Ask me to tell you the full story next time I see you in person.
