Stinger Suit Power Rangers on Whitehaven Beach

The thing to do in Arlie Beach is book a 3-day, 2-night trip on a sailboat and then cruise around the Whitsunday Islands. I booked on a boat called The Broomstick, along with 19 other backpackers, 1 Captain and 2 Crew. Days are spent sailing, snorkeling, sunning, beaching and napping, and nights are spent eating, drinking and chatting. Also booked on the boat were two of my Dutchie dorm mates from Magnetic Island, Daan and Roel. The waters around the Whitsundays have stingers/jellyfish in them, so you are required to wear a stinger suit anytime you go in the water. The pic above is the three of us proudly displaying our suits on the blindingly-white, silica-sanded Whitehaven Beach (voted second best beach in the world!, by whom we have no idea.)
