Whilst in Queensland, I noticed that all my pictures were of beautiful water and lush greenery. I thus decided it was time for a change and jumped on a plane to Alice Springs in the Northern Territory, and the red, hot center of Australia. I assure you, my pictures will definitely be looking much different now. Ex: The above picture is of the Todd River in Alice Springs. The Todd is considered a major river, as the wide river basin shows, but barely ever has water in it, as the tire tracks in the dirt show. It can sometimes be years between flowings of the river, which actually helped me, as my hostel was on the edge of the “river” and being able to walk through it shaved 10 minutes off my walk in to town.
