We peregrinos all leave the Albergues at different times in the morning. Sometimes you walk alone; sometimes you walk with people you know; sometimes you walk with new people. But we’re all following roughly the same schedule, and stopping in the same towns, so we see & hang out with the same folks all the time. And something that always seems to happen, in a totally unplanned way, is that we gather at the most central outdoor cafe for happy hour drinks & chatter after the day’s walk. It’s my favorite part of every day. Not sure why I’m so isolated in this pic, but I assure you I’m having a great time.
