And then I was done. After an easy 30km trek from Muxia, I arrived at the 0.00 marker in Finisterre/Fisterre, “end of the earth”. It felt like the end, and I was glad I was done. Arriving in Santiago was emotional (still need to write about that — it’s hard); arriving in Muxia felt great; but arriving in Finisterre just had me saying “I’m done”. The view made it feel like it was the end as well:

A fun moment happened after on my walk back to town: All along the Camino, the towns, cities, and villages had put up statues of peregrinos (another post I need to write up), usually depicting ones from long, long ago. They always had a walking stick, but this one specific one near Finisterre didn’t have one. Since I no longer needed mine, I did some guerilla art, and installed my stick into the sculpture. I think it turned out nicely, especially since the poor, leaning peregrino really seemed to need it:
