I realized yesterday how much I love cobbler/shoe repair shops. They all pretty much have the same cluttered look & feel, and they’re always owned by a friendly old man. Plus, it make you feel good that you’re repairing them, rather than just throwing them out & buying a new pair.

I think I’ve been to about 20 different shops in my life, all of them just like the one in these pics, a place a couple of blocks from where I live.
