I think it’s fascinating they used mathematical techniques to expose a literary hoax. That said, was it a hoax? I mean, if people (Thomas Jefferson! Napoleon!) enjoyed the poetry, does it matter who wrote it or when it was written? Nothing in the writing changes once you know where it came from, and who actually wrote it. Artistic judgement is so weird.
