I really enjoyed publicly declaring goals for 2023, and then evaluating my year-end performance towards them. Seven was too many, though, which was part of the reason my grades were so low in many of them. So I’m committing to five this year:
Sell → I spent last year building & launching, Did You Do it Today?, but it’s now time to get the word out to market & sell it. What will that look like? I have no idea — part of why I’m doing this is to learn all aspects of running a digital business, and I certainly have a lot to learn about sales. I’ll also be doing this, to a lesser extent, with Snack Pantry.
Earn → I need to generate income this year. Hopefully it will be independently, and ideally via Did You Do it Today? & Snack Pantry, but I’ll continue to be open to any interesting opportunity that comes my way.
Write → I’ll be posting something every day here on eyeintim, and some of that writing will continue to feed into every weekend’s Snack Pantry.
Create → I really enjoyed that process of building Did You Do it Today, and have some other ideas for web apps. So, I’ll be building out another one, using Bubble.io again.
Learn → I’m constantly reading & learning on the internet, but it’s unfocused & unproductive. So, I’ll be formalizing my learning this year by taking a class/course, most likely online. I have no idea in what subject — figuring that out will be part of the fun.
