Well, this is surprising, no? Almost as surprising is that the author himself still stretches. This is a supremely comprehensive article, so I’m inclined to believe the premise, even though is seems almost too contrary.

One of the cool things about running a habit tracker is that I get to see what habits people are trying to build. My sample size is still low, but the clear leader so far is ‘stretching’ of some form. It’d be an interesting follow-on to this article to do a study of *why* people stretch — because they think it’s good for them, or because it actually feels good for them.
