Pink noise might be better for you to sleep to than white noise →

It sure is for me. I started listening to night noise back in the day by falling asleep to a cooling fan every night. Now I need it, especially living in a noisy part of DC. I’ve tried all the methods & noise colors: Fans, machines, white, brown, dishwasher. But none have “worked” as well for me as pink. As a result, my top play on Spotify last year, by a lot, is this 12 hour pink noise “podcast”.
Marginally interesting add-on that the article doesn’t mention: Pink noise is like combining white noise with brown noise. Get it? White + Brown = Pink.
