I’d say the majority of time I’ve had a new idea for “Did You Do it Today“, or a motivation breakthrough, it hasn’t been while sitting at the computer working. Rather, it’s been in this park, running laps while listening to podcasts. I usually run ten laps, and it’s the monotony of this, and not having to worry about stoplights & cars, that frees my mind to think about new ideas and work through the details & potential implementation of them.
It seems even the statues are inspired there: Here it looks like Jeanne D’Arc is leaning back & motivated to try to chop off that wayward branch.
