Pretty cool video, but it’s not perfect — the timing is a little off, the camera work/editing near the summit can be improved, and I would have liked more annotations of the different sections (eg. Khumbu Icefall). That said, this is spectacular, and shows how far we’ve come with technology that it was filmed by an off-the-shelf drone.

I’ve never had the urge to climb big mountains, and this did nothing to change my mind. But I still love reading about climbs & seeing footage like this, so I found this video via this Outside article.
