Seattle + Alaska Cruise Vacation

I haven’t posted in awhile, nor done any DYDit work, because I was on a fantastic seven-day Alaskan cruise with my family. It departed from Seattle, so we also spent a few days there before the cruise.

I think we’ve all seen lots of pics from Alaskan cruises –the ship; ocean; mountains; icebergs; eagles; whales; icebergs; trees; trains; gold-rush towns; fishing-boat harbors– so I’m not going to post any of those things here.

Instead, since both Seattle & Alaska fancy themselves as quirky places, I’m going to just post some of the non-standard stuff I captured there.

Eye’s on Tim near Seattle’s Lake Union

Cocktails @ canon (yes, those are all drinks)

The banana truck @ Amazon’s Spheres

Hallway in the Alaska State Capitol building in Juneau (anybody can just walk in & roam around anywhere in it, with no security anywhere)

My favorite spot on the Mount Roberts trail in Juneau
Fellow cruisers gawking at Johns Hopkins Glacier in Glacier National Park

The public library in Skagway (no, I didn’t work-from-library there)

A pizza-boasting Mexican place in Ketchikan

The slides my cousin’s & I conquered (in the freezing cold) on our ship

The empty space above is dedicated to Victoria, British Columbia, a beautiful place in which I took zero pictures
