When I booked my flight home from Seattle for after my cruise, I idiotically selected my return date to DC for when the cruise was departing to Alaska instead of when it was returning. I only realized it a few days before my trip started, and I had purchased the cheap “you can’t ever change this ticket even with more money” fare, so I was looking at throwing down ~$300 to buy a new flight home.
I was getting super bored in DC, and the heat & humid was crushing my soul, so I said “F it”, and decided I would punish myself a little and take busses from Seattle back to DC. Without stopping, this would take three long days, so I also decided to add some adventure to it, and will be stopping along the way for a couple of days each in some states & places I’ve never been. I’m giving myself 30 days to get home, and will be working along the way. It’s a new #workabout!
My travel rules for this #workabout:
- Busses only
- Heading East-South-East only
- When I stop somewhere, it has to be for a minimum of two nights
My work goals for this #workabout:
- Continue improving & supporting https://didyoudoittoday.com
- Finish the talking script for https://drinkeatwalk.com
- Daily blog & social media posts about it
LFG!
