It’s cherry blossom season in DC, meaning it’s the perfect time for one of my favorite short runs: To the Washington Monument; touch it; run back. It’s a great one because there’s a grove of trees on the Monument grounds that’s one of my favorites. You can see them in the pic above, and that there aren’t dozens of people taking pictures within them shows you we’re still few days away from peak blooms & people.
