Dog 💩 Park

The gym in my apartment building looks out on to the building’s dog park. Yep, most fancy new apartment buildings in DC have their own private dog parks, usually filled with French Bulldogs & Labradoodlish-type dogs. Looking out on the dogs running & playing definitely helps break up the monotony of the treadmill.

But, there’s a cost: Constantly seeing dogs pooping (like in this pic), the stress of whether the owner will pick it up or not, and the humbling scene of the human picking up 💩. It’s not exactly fun to watch, nor the most motivating.
