Maps are the best, especially when they can be used as the canvas to describe why history unfolded the way it did. Tough to fact-check all the assertions in this thread, but it all seems believable, and he has a Polish name & Bio, so 🤷‍♂️.

I also think they shows the power of “new” media like Twitter* to tell stories in a more interesting & engaging manner. I’m not sure this would have been as interesting in a book.

*I’ll keep calling it Twitter until they change their base URL to X.com
