2023 Evaluation: Item #5 → Read

Grade = F 🎉

I hated this goal, almost immediately. I love reading books, and this made it feel like something I had to do, rather than wanted to do. Also, I have no issue with ditching a book when I don’t like it, and I was reluctant to do that with this goal, as I didn’t want to “waste” the time I’d invested already. I have no idea how many books I read this year, and I’m totally fine with that.

That said, I do want to spend more time this year reading books, and less time endlessly reading the internet. But I will never have a book-reading goal again, and look forward to giving up on some awful books this year.
