Bus Tour

Here’s a pic of the type of bus I’ve been riding since Spokane — they’ve all looked like this:

They’re actually clean, with comfortable seats & charging inside, though the WiFi they advertise is BS — it never works for long. The bathroom does, though 🙌.

There is no real Greyhound in this region; all the lines redirect to Jefferson Lines. And with this monopoly comes rent-seeking prices, eg. the 3.5 hr bus I took today from Missoula to Bozeman was $86 vs. the $50 I paid for the 5.5 hr bus ride on the competitive Seattle to Spokane route 🤷🏻‍♂️

The buses haven’t been that crowded — I’ve had a two-seat row to myself every time, and today there was just three of us on the bus.

Not pictured here: Crazy woman in the way back, and a something-ain’t-right-with-him man behind me. As I said before, I’ll do a full post on what it’s like to ride the bus here in the USA…

Supply aand demand at its fullest. Are you going to include Yellowstone on your trip?

Nope. Terrible time to go with the heat & crowds, and I’d want to have my own vehicle for it.

forgot about the crowds! Busses look nice. Enjoy the “Big Sky”.
