Here’s a pic of the type of bus I’ve been riding since Spokane — they’ve all looked like this:

They’re actually clean, with comfortable seats & charging inside, though the WiFi they advertise is BS — it never works for long. The bathroom does, though 🙌.

There is no real Greyhound in this region; all the lines redirect to Jefferson Lines. And with this monopoly comes rent-seeking prices, eg. the 3.5 hr bus I took today from Missoula to Bozeman was $86 vs. the $50 I paid for the 5.5 hr bus ride on the competitive Seattle to Spokane route 🤷🏻♂️
The buses haven’t been that crowded — I’ve had a two-seat row to myself every time, and today there was just three of us on the bus.

Not pictured here: Crazy woman in the way back, and a something-ain’t-right-with-him man behind me. As I said before, I’ll do a full post on what it’s like to ride the bus here in the USA…
