A teen walking on the street was looking at her phone, and not where she was going. So, I let her walk right into me, as I always do now, to prove a point.
Teen: <stunned & embarrassed> “I’m sorry sir!”
Me: <stunned & laughing> “Sir‽ Wow, do I really look that old?”
Teen: <earnestly>”I was just trying to show respect!”
The kids are going to be ok.
